Find Van Rentals in Cincinnati

Hertz didn’t bother to contact me until less than 24 hours prior to pickup to inform me that they couldn’t rent a car to me. My husband reserved the car and used his CC. I tried to use MY debit card and was told Hertz didn’t accept debit cards. ?? When I tried to cancel the reservation with Hertz I was directed to another number to call 🙄 I will not use Hertz again.

The website indicated I could pick it up in Cincinnati when I googled "Airport Pickup". The address was nowhere near the airport, and I ended up cancelling the reservation. It is lucky that the woman from the rental agency called me to tell me they were not open on Sunday, which was my first clue this was NOT at the airport! Very misleading on KAYAK's part!

I requested to pick up a car at the Cincinatti aiport and Kayak sent me to a Hertz that was not even at the airport. I never made it to pick up my car because my flight was delayed by 30 min and by the time I got to the Hertz counter at the airport and figured out my reservation was not at the airport it was 6:03pm and the place where my reservation was had closed at 6pm. The Hertz at the airport had no cars available and neither did any other vendor. None of them could help me in person, I had to do everything online and when the Hertz company finally said I could take a van it was going to be $388 for less than 24 hours. My original reservation was for $46 that I would like a refund on. Due to this confusion and Kayak choosing a rental place that was not at the airport and closed early for my flight time (Kayak asked for my flight information) I had to pay for a $109 Uber to Lexington and an $80 cab back from Lexington. I thought I was going to spend $46 and now I've spent $235 because of your poor program. I have never been to Cincinatti, how on earth would I know the rental car reservation was not at the airport when that is what I searched.....

Went to hertz with my confirmation number No cars on lot. I missed my mothers funeral

This Colerain Ave. location had the most polite and cheerful staff I have ever come across at a rental agency. I would go back there just to say hi to them! Plus, I was in and out of there in about 4 minutes, not kidding.

I flew into the airport at midnight but they closed at 10 pm. Very frustrating. Had to Uber and $88 to get to my hotel. I will never use thrifty or dollar rent a car ever again.

They called and cancelled on us telling us they had no car for us, even though we reserved it through you and paid for it. We passed on reserving cars at the airport because we got a confirmation from kayak that we had a car through this agency. By the time they called to tell us they really didn’t have any cars and don’t like it when websites like yours keep reserving them, it was too late for us to get a car at the airport. They were all gone. We ended up having to spend the night in Cincinnati at our own expense and ended up renting a car through another company to be able to get home the next day.

This location didn’t have the car I rented when I arrived. They tried playing the “free upgrade” game and wanted to rent me a Jeep Compass instead of a full-size car. That would have destroyed my vacation budget with gas. After having to wait around 2 hours for them to find a car, they gave me a somewhat dirty car. At least I wasn’t charged any more than was quoted. Mediocre experience

@ pickup no additional charges were communicated (after large advance reservation, 2 clarifying confirmation calls etc they charged us double, yes 2x the reserved price)- the van was not ultra clean, older model, & had problems. Received with dents in rear door & side (sliding door & back doors were difficult to open). Windshield wipers were awful & we went through severe thunderstorms through Smokies, that made it life threatening. Finally, a hub was severely rubbing, loud to point of louder than radio. When calling customer service, NO option given unless the vehicle stopped running. When we dropped off vehicle, they said TOO much sand - didn’t realize we had to detail prior. An hour later, we returned.

I received a confirmation about a Mustang convertible or similar. As I arrived (in time) there was no convertible available. We’ve called your customer service and nobody was able to help me. Instead of the Mustang A received a complete different car but and it was dirty.

Use another company. They canceled my car twice. It was a joke complete joke !! See reviews on Better Business Bureau

I ended up having to get two new cars during my rental period. The plastic undercarriage in the first car came loose (I did not hit anything or have an accident, just normal wear and tear) and started dragging the pavement three days after I picked it up. Roadside assistance provided a tow truck and a new car (2 + hours, all told), and then the second car had a flat tire one day after I started driving it (again, without me hitting anything). Roadside assistance then provided a tire change and new car (3+ hours all told). Avis is now charging me for the tow truck, although the reason I had to call the tow truck was due to their poor maintenance and upkeep of their cars (not to mention what could've been a safety issue) and through no fault of mine.
