Poor|May 2022We had booked a luxury car online, but when we got there we found out we were too young, so we were downgraded to a different car. Despite that, we had to pay the price for the luxury vehicle. That is not even the worst part. The amount that we were charged for the car was double the amount that was quoted on the reservation. The "compensate", we were told we didn't have to fill the gas tank when we dropped it off. This did not drop the rate even near what we were promised. The car itself was fine and we were on our way. We then come back to drop the car off and are having it checked out. A scratch was found on the car that we are clueless as to where it came from. I'm assuming we are going to receive additional charges for that, but I guess I'll wait and see. Overall a sloppy, unforgettable experience.

Poor|Apr. 2022They did not have the car that we reserved and switched if for an old beat up mini van at double the price. They were rude and clearly took advantage of my wife who was there with three children. I would never use them again, and would not recommend others used them for any purpose.

Poor|Aug. 2022We rented the car. It had car due for service the first day we took it. Branch didn’t respond to any of our enquiries even though I physically went there. Then they charged me for 7 days though I had the car for only 5.5 days.

Very good|Jul. 2022GOOD: The website was simple and not deceptive like many others. No hidden costs, no tricks. BETTER: The return time on a Saturday (they close at 1 p.m.) was quite early. We'd rather have returned our vehicle at a later time.

Okay|Jul. 2022There are two Enterprise pick up locations at LAX. The Enterprise bus from the airport does not go to one of them. We were not told this and neithr the reservation nor confirmation email mentions it. After riding the bus from the airport, we then had to find our own way to the second location where our car was. Rediculous. Added a half hour to the process.

Very good|Jul. 2022The vehicle was nice. It was new and met our expectations. The pick-up point at SanFransisco was nice. There was an air train. It was easy to go to Airport. But the pick-up point in LA was not easy for us to go from Airport. We went by taxi with 2 kids and 4 pieces of baggage. It took a long time to get our vehicle. More than 1 hour.

Poor|Mar. 2022Do not rent a car with this company. At pickup, the salesman used deceptive sale tactics and added charges to my account without confirming the charges. He processed the payment before confirming the total charges. The morning after drop off, I was charged an additional $127.00 with no explanation. I am still trying to connect with their customer service to determine why I was charged this.

Mediocre|Oct. 2022Reserved a SUV. While standing in line to be served, the guy upgraded the guy in front of me to their last SUV. I ended up getting a F150 that had no oil in it's engine and broke down on the way home. Cost me an extra day to get home, a night in Modesto, a pissed off wife and a lot off gas. Avis did their best to make things right. But beware of renting from the 3600 Wilshire Blvd location.

Poor|Oct. 2022The car was is unsafe driving condition. No windshield wiper fluid. Could barely see out of the windshield. The car made a grinding noise when turning. The car was not on full upon pick up. The maintenance required take care to dealer indicator light was on. Absolutely HORRIFIC. Parked car. Did not drive it. Extremely disappointed.

Poor|Sep. 2022I booked it online through kayak. I went to the Avis location and as soon as I got there I spoke with the Avis rep, he said right away that there’s no cars at all and there’s nothing he could do for me. This left me in a bad spot because now I’m there with all my luggage and no car. I had to call an Uber to a different Avis location. I spoke with an Avis person on the phone and she said she’d transfer my reservation to the other Avis location. When I got to the other Avis location they had no idea what I was talking about and couldn’t find my reservation. They ended up giving me a mini van when I had reserved a pick up truck

Poor|Sep. 2022Midway LAX did not consider my Visa credit card that’s affiliated with a major American department store a “traditional credit card” and did not accept it for payment. Unfortunately I do not use credit cards and only have one Visa that I use literally everywhere. Additionally, Midway LAX does not accept Apple Pay which was my other form of payment. Ended up leaving without a car and spending almost an hour on the phone trying to get a refund from third party car insurance vendor that I had already paid for. I guess that’s what happens when you try to be cheap and use a sh** company.

Very good|Nov. 2022I was anticipating a Camry instead got a small SUV, which really didn't have the trunk space that we needed. It is a hassle getting to the location. Uber lyft prices in the morning are ridiculous. Not sure why there would be a 50% difference between here and an airport location (unless you are deliberately trying to screw last minute travelers.)
