Fast, simple and easy with great service. Didn't get the specific suv we requested, but the alternate was a pleasant surprise.

Booked through kayak then called rental company didn’t have a car and now email is flooded with spam

I booked and paid in advance for a full size SUV. When i got there the individual at the desk who was nice mentioned that they ran out of SUVs and only had minivans. I told him I had paid in advance because I wanted an SUV. He then offered me a 2019 Highlander that wasnt even cleaned and even that he had to call another to employee I could take it. When I saw the highlander it was dirty and old, so I went with the minivan because I was left with no choice. It was disappointing to book and prepay for something and not get it when I get there. This is the second time this has happened with Hertz when I booked through Kayak. Not happy at all and very disappointed with both parties, Hertz and Kayak. Will definitely look into using other 3rd party booking sites moving forward.
