Wizz Air deliberately overbooked our flight (which they are apparently allowed to do). We were put on standby and in the meantime, the alternative flight the following morning that we’d been assured that we could fly on sold out. There were no alternative flights and the compensation is insufficient to buy last minute flights with a different airline (which they won’t cover). Very frustrating experience.
