Cheap Car Rentals in Saint Thomas Island Cyril E King Airport from C$ 40

Terrible extra charges that were not agreed to. Lied and told the law required extra coverage. Charged for fuel when I filled up across the street to be told I’d have to take that up with inside counter. Scammers everywhere.

The car we rented was in poor shape..broken mirrors, loose floor mats, dents and scratches galore. Ants in the back seat. But easy pickup up and drop off and convenient airport shuttle.

They helped us perfectly and always promptly answered the phone for any questions we had. We will definitely use them again when we visit St. Thomas.

Once we arrived at the airport, i had contacted them for a pickup. They had a shuttle there in 10 minutes which was great. Once we arrived at the office which was basically around the corner from the airport we filled out the paperwork. The lights were off and the women was behind dark bronze plastic screen. This made it hard to see her and communicate with her. The car they gave me was basically hit on ever corner and had a flat tire. I had asked for one of the other cars in the lot(they had about 30 others that looked new comparable mid-size cars) and I was told no. I told her i wasn't taking the car with a flat tire even thought she felt it was "fine", so I had to wait for them to add air before i would drive it. The muffler was loud which made it hard to speak with my family while accelerating which is pretty much all of the time with all of the hills in St THOMAS. The car pretty much bottomed out on every speed bump even with coming to a full stop and just idling over them. The check engine light was on the entire time and the air bag light was going on and off. The good news is that the car got us around for the week without breaking down, but it was quite an eyesore. The return back to the airport was excellent just like the pickup, it was just the condition of the car and the unwillingness of the staff to provide an alternate vehicle for the poor review

They didn’t have the size car I ordered and was charged to “upgrade” to a car that I essentially ordered. Website needs to be more transparent on what is being ordered.

I booked and paid for a luxury SUV, and was booked a small SUV upon receipt. No way of contacting Kayak rental service to report at time of rental. Once arrived at air port, I had to pay an extra +$250.00 for a Mid-size SUV. We had a party of 6 people. During entire trip we had someone sitting on one’s lap or I the very back of suv, rear access. Whole trip I was concerned that we had one person that was not secured via seat belt. Not sure if this will help matters or any action will be taken by Kayak, but I did feel to express my concerns.

Awesome experience. Super quick check in and check out. Great car. Friendly service.
