Have fun in Calaway Park

Calgary’s Calaway Park is western Canada’s largest outdoor family amusement park. If you’re visiting the city with kids, this is a great places to bring them. Take a food tour

Calgary Food Tours Inc. has been helping locals and visitors alike learn about Calgary’s food scene since 2006. They offer five walking and tasting tours of four neighbourhoods, including Inglewood, the Designer District, Kensington and 17th Avenue Southwest. Head to Heritage Park Historical Village

Step back in time to get a taste for what Calgary would have looked and felt like a century ago. Known as “Canada’s largest living history museum” Heritage Park Historical Village has more than 200 exhibits and attractions spread over 127 acres that allow you to explore what Calgary would have been like between 1860 and 1950.

Visit Canada Olympic Park

In 1988 Calgary played host to the first Winter Olympics ever held in Canada. Many of the events were held at Olympic Park, where you can enjoy several activities, including testing out North America’s fastest zipline from the top of the ski jump tower, visiting the Sports Hall of Fame, riding more than 25 kilometres of biking trails in the summer, skiing in the winter and even trying your hand at the bobsled.
