I rented a mid-size (Corolla) and was disappointed when I got to the front desk that that equated to a Kia (compact in my opinion). Long story short, for $10/day, they upgraded me to a suv (more room and surprisingly 7 seats!). This worked out very well as I was able to shuttle the volleyball team/parents in and around Spokane. In the end, it worked out great and I'm satisfied. What could have been better? Clearer signs for CAR RENTAL returns coming into the airport. Was "lost" and finally decided to go close to where I rented the car (and not the long term parking area) and that's where I again picked up/saw the Returns line. Very confusing if not from the area!!!

Noticed a cat pee (or weed) smell in it, but not bad enough to warrant getting a different vehicle. The gal helping us get the vehicle was very nice and helpful. Price could have been much more reasonable, in our opinion. But it served our purposes for the two days we had it. Thank you.

Rep tried to pressure me into upgrading. I said no then he fessed up that they didn’t have anything in the category I reserved except a Dodge Charger which I do not consider to be a full size car. He refused to give me a complimentary upgrade which was the only way I had to get a car that would suit my needs. I will never rent from them again, in any city.

They denied the reservation at the counter because we did not have airline tickets. When I rented the email confirmation specifically said the airline tickets was not required to rent from this location. They did not try to resolve other than tell me but I had to find another rental car penny. Luckily Enterprise right next to them was able to accommodate. This is the first and last time I use thrifty

Do not rent from this location and possibly not from this company. They will “find” a minute half inch hairline scratch under a bumper (pretty sure they put it there themselves) and try to scam you for thousands to repair it. Wonder how many renters have paid for the same invisible and out of sight scratch. As another car rental agency said, “that’s ridiculous. If we had our cars our for repairs for small scratches we wouldn’t have any to rent out.” Super scammers. Be careful. Go elsewhere.

Once I received the car things were okay. The problem was the lady at the Spokane Airport's counter. There was a dramatic price change (in my favor) on my rental due to changes in the rental. When I asked her to help me with getting the reimbursement she told me that she would not make the phone call to to help me get this taken care of.

Booked online with kayak. Never mentioned additional charges for anything over 200 miles but the receipt had we ended up renting would have cost another .30/mile for anything we drove over 200 miles per day. Went to the Hertz counter at the airport to pick up the car and they said they had no cars available to rent. Terrible customer service assistance and terrible management of information. Sales counter was anything but helpful upon arrival and wasn’t interested in looking for other options to assist.

Was never aware of the $400 deposit i had to make once i picked up the vehicle even though the rental portion was already paid for plus insurance! Car could have been a little cleaner . And hertz DESK staff could have been more friendly. Outside staff were very kind and helpful.

The final bill total ended up being far more than the quoted price. There were several extra charges that weren’t originally discussed or included on the estimate. I didn’t deviate from the trip that I told them I was taking, nor did I return the vehicle with a low fuel tank. It’s not a nice surprise to be charged closer to $500 when the original quote was $354.

There was no car lot attendant when dropped the car, gave key to a person at a counter. A few days later got a charge of $1500 on my credit card for car. Now I have to deal with disputing and figure out on what happen!ed! So frustrating!

Due to Covid, I wasn’t able to travel with my wife and kids on the trip. Budget/Priceline was very unhelpful and un-accommodating. They wouldn’t honor the reservation without me being present despite my wife having same unique last name and confirm email/#. We tried adding her to reservation thru Priceline help number after she sat in line initially and was denied. After standing in line again, she found their systems didn’t register the change. Ultimately made new reservation with Avis and wife stood in line again to finally get the car.

The wait at the Spokane airport was ridiculous, almost 45 minutes. I had completed EVERYTHING on line, but it seems no one else had. When it came my turn, the Avis employee spent about 10 minutes typing on the computer. For what? Who knows. As I said, I completed everything on line, including choice of insurance options. Clearly, Avis has a problem.

Alamo representative Debbie at the Spokane airport was very friendly and helpful. She assisted me with changing my reserved vehicle type. The vehicle was wonderful, so comfortable and easy to drive.

I changed my requested vehicle type at the counter, which cost an additional $134.00. This was about $50.00 higher than if I had made the reservation that day, and even higher than other rental companies at the airport. Because I would have had a $100.00 fee to cancel my original reservation, I choose just to pay for the higher than average upgrade fee. Taught me a lesson to only reserve no fee cancellation vehicles.

The reservation, pick up and drop off all went without a hitch. Easy and hassle free. The staff was ready for me and made everything easy. Debbie was great to work with!! I showed up earlier than my reservation and they got me in a car early and extended my rental by one day without any issues. Staff was great!! Overall experience was great!! Would defintely rent from Alamo again.

I drove a 2017 Dodge Charger with 2000 miles. Overall the car was great, but the USB ports would work off and on. This was frustrating and was hard when I needed to charge my phone. Also the main screen froze once and I had to pull over and turn the car off and back on. When it froze I was unable to control the volume, A/C etc. This must be a glitch that Dodge needs to address.
