The customer service personnel were EXCELLENT!!! They would be the reason I would return to Alamo rental cars on my next trip to my parent’s home!! They made the experience so smooth and efficient both getting the car and returning it, that I think I there is no other company that could accommodate me needs better!!!

I had already reserved my car and provided payment information. I didn't care for standing in a line with only one agent working to service all the passengers from an Allegiant flight. It was a 20 minute wait! I was thrilled to get a Rav 4 since I requested an intermediate SUV and drive a Toyota at home. It made my husband with Parkinson's Disease very comfortable with the surroundings as well.

The SUV smelled of smoke so bad we had to buy an air freshener to fill the smell (such a bad first impression) it was not very clean….melted chocolate on the floor of the SUV, finger prints on the windows and door handles (looked like they were never cleaned) crumbs in the cup holders and in between the seats.

I made a reservation and a half hour before the pick up time I got a phone call from the location that there wasn’t a car there for me. Extremely disappointing! Thought I could count on the process and accuracy.

I was 12 minutes late due to uber driver making a wrong turn. Rental Agent refused to rent me the car.

They could have cared and provided minimal customer service. Also not accept reservations for thier exact closing time.

The car I booked and picked up was completely different. Nobody listened when complained about it. Also, I needed to drop the car off at different location, so I contacted them about that, and they told me that I can drop it off at any location without any hassle. When I went to drop it off, they made a big scene and charged me an exorbitant amount fees which is almost the five times the rental amount. The service is very poor… I don’t recommend hertz to any one…..

When I reserved the car I chose a compact/midsize car as I always do when I rent, simply to save money. When I picked up the car at this location, they only have SUVs for rent. I still payed the same price as the car as I had reserved, but the SUV used a lot of gas. Think twice about renting here unless you can afford to throw your money away on excessive gas usage. Otherwise, the rental experience was just fine.

I arrived at the Hertz location in Allentown , only to be told that they had no vehicles available. The clerk was quite rude about the issue and didn’t not offer any help or even apologize for the fact that they could not fulfill their end of the agreement.

I had requested full coverage insurance for this rental. The agent who issued the car to me never added that coverage. Unfortunately I was involved in an accident and I was told that I wasn’t covered.

Having been listened to better at the time of pick up and to have been covered by the requested full coverage insurance.

Car was perfectly clean, and had better features (forward automatic braking) than most rental cars.

Car was reported as full but came with 3/4 of a tank, though they did reimburse my refueling. Impossible to add a second driver without both drivers going to the desk, which is much stricter than any other rental company I have experienced.

The car wreaked of weed and had burn marks on the driver seat and door window sill area. It was dirty and the alternate rental car was in even worse condition. No offer for a discount on the vehicle or even a discount for an upgrade. The most disappointing and disgusting car I have rented.

I think it is immoral to charge me $10 a gallon for a full tank of gas, when I did not use the full tank. I sort of understand charging a premium. The gas supply is no doubt right next to the wash and detail area, so it cannot cost much more for the service folks to gas up the car. It's just another way, along with selling insurance, that the Hertz car rental system gouges the unsuspecting.

I can’t really complain about the rate. It was quite affordable.

Even if you are paying a good rate, you should expect that the car would at least be safe. The front tires had NO tread left and i was having to drive in the rain! Every time I would start from a stop the tires would spin out!!! Yikes! And when breaking the antilock breaks would engage. Definitely one of the scariest drives I’ve driven!!! Also, I had no idea that the location was NOT on airport like all of the other locations! Someone should apprise you of this so you don’t miss your flight!!!
