pickup at Figari was very slow. even with the online registration, the person at the office restart the entire procedure. during the online preregistration, Hertz propose me an upgrade which was not available at figari. The car was not the one choosed at the pre-registration. the dropoff was quick and easy.

The amount of people in line to only have 1 person finishing people's application was silly. 2 1/2 hours to pick up a car, and there were another 10 people behind me that arrived at nearly the same time. There was a 2nd staff person assisting with pre-check, taking everyone's license info. etc.... but when he finished with everyone in line, instead of helping get people in cars he went out back to smoke a few cigarettes and then started doing pre-check again once more people had arrived. The car's exterior was quite dirty, which is a bit understandable giving the amount of gravel roads in corsica but if you're going to give someone a dirty car maybe take off the sticker stating there is a 50 euro fee if you bring it back dirty. Lastly, my rental agreement was very clear about a car that would seat 5, have space for 3 suitcases and have 4 doors. After waiting in line for 2 1/2 hours I got a compact with 2 doors and had to go back to get more assistance. I first approached the guy doing pre-check since he was just standing there, and he referred me back to the only staff member that was working and I had to wait another 20 minutes.
