Issue 1: $230 per day for a standard car. Issue 2: Nearly $1900 billed to my card a week later because that forgot to check it in when I returned it the next day. Issue 3: Their customer service HUNG UP ON ME because I refused to accept "It's still only pending. We can't do anything about the charge until it's taken out of your account."

Was told it would be $446 when I picked up the car. 20 min latter I received a second email saying the price was now $506 with no expiration of the price increase. When I called they couldn’t explain it or change it. Very dishonest

Hertz is the worst!!! I go out of my way to use any other rental company. Was given a car with a half tank (they gave me a hard time when I returned with 3/4 tank because I should have asked them to mark that in my record. Is it my job to do their jobs?). It also had low tire pressure that I had to fill up, the oil change light was on the whole time and the passenger seatbelt would not latch. I had sworn to stop using them and gave them one more shot, avoid Hertz at all costs. The worst company.

Luckily, I had printed my reservation info. The Hertz agent said there was no record of my reservation. The car was mediocre and had a very creaky driver’s side door. There was no one to check the car before leaving the lot, so we just left.

Cuando alquilé el coche por Internet, el precio total era 108,07 USD. Pero cuando devolví el coche me llegó una factura de 196 USD. aproximadamente. Aparte que el depósito de combustible no estaba completamente lleno cuando lo recibí. Tuve que esperar casi una hora para que me entreguen un coche, porque no tenían el tipo de Coche que yo quería.

Enterprise has an algorithm that allows cars to be "reserved" (including with "availability confirmed" by reservation agent); but when the customer arrives he finds himself "waitlisted" because there is no car available. This happened three times: one with an online reservation (through Kayak); one with a phone reservation with an Enterprise agent; and one at a separate location through an online reservation followed up by a phone call ... Called another agency ... picked up a less expensive car 1 hr later ... will not do business again with Enterprise

When we arrived to pick up our reserved car, they had no cars available. We had to rent one for the "walk up rate" at another counter and paid twice as much. Thankfully the other company had a car for us because it was 9pm and we needed to get to our hotel in a town 1.5 hours away.

There was a sign informing us that the agent was not available at that time. An 800 number was given but no one answered and the mailbox was full. Paperwork and keys were placed in a Dropbox on the counter but no directions were available.

My rental experience was great over all. I got a Chrysler minivan, and it was great for my four kiddos and me. It was very clean and had no issues for our two hour drive. Staff at the pick up and drop off locations were very friendly as well. It would have been nice to not have to wait a while to check in and get my keys (I was 5th in line, I believe), but I know everywhere is hurting for staff these days.

I hit a heavy rain on my way home to Memphis. The windshield wipers were horrible. I recommend either replacing them more frequently or applying RainX to the windshield. Ensuring the safety of your driver should be a priority.

The staff was very friendly and understanding. She was patient with the... complicated customer in line in front of us and very still had a fun conversation with us. Turning the vehicle in was quick and painless.

My only complaint was that when we picked up our vehicle there was one person at the counter no one to help her.

The employee, a young fellow, was very helpful to me. He even checked the tire pressure with a gauge when I mentioned that one front tire looked low. It was a little low. The car was perfect for us; it carried some furniture home, and we really enjoyed using Sirius XM to listen to music during our long drive home. Finally, the hybrid got super gas mileage during our drive to Washington, D.C., using only 1.5 tanks of gas.

I requested to pick up a car from the airport location. Day of a Budget representative contacted me to notify they received my reservation, but did not have a car available to give me. I then called the general help line who altered my reservation to a different pickup location. When I arrived they informed me they were the ones that had contacted me originally. I then called the Budget office at the airport directly, where my original pickup was supposed to be scheduled for, and had them transfer my reservation to their location. This was an incredible inconvenience as we were visiting the city where the reservation was made and had to coordinate transportation multiple times to pickup the car. Additionally receiving notice the morning of added unnecessary stress to a vacation. I will definitely not be using your services for future reservations.

Really efficient pick-up process and friendly service. The cars weren't the most impeccably clean but clean enough. They had me sign on actual hard copy papers and I wish there was a way to do it all electronically so that I would have a soft copy.

I was charged almost double and called in 4 times all different people and could not get resolved. I booked the car for pick up at Hixon TN in my error. I picked the car up at the Airport which is what I needed. The reservation was changed for pick up not drop off so I had to call into change it. The rate was not quoted, I found my reservation which showed $175.00 my charge was $320.07. I was told nothing could be done until I returned the car. When I returned the car 2.5 hours early I asked for a re-rate and was told it would not make a difference. I am aware airport fees raise the rental rate but not by almost double. For the price the car should be cleaned to include in side the windows and dry it off. The care windows inside were dirty and like most rental companies the car is just hosed off.

Budget would be better if they weren’t trying to charge me a $383 fee to rent a Toyota RAV4 for less than 24 hours.
