The staff was extremely helpful, and very friendly. It seems like they did everything they could to help us get into an available car that they had.

I had rented a large seven person van through the kayak website, unfortunately they did not have a large seven passenger van. We had to cram every piece of luggage that we had into a five person station wagon. It was a bit tight. I don’t know if I blame kayak, or the Hertz rental place.

Never received my e-mail receipt for the rental as promised. They couldn't issue one at the counter when the car was returned. I did have them go to the car, review check it out for any issues which they did and and got a clean bill on the returned car. I had them sign the agreement stating so....but still no e-mail of final bill.

I booked my rental for the correct day, wrong month. Pre-paid through Kayak. They laughed with us and said not to worry about it - they had a car and it was fine. Didn't charge us a thing, gave us great driving advice (red always means stop, for example) and gave us a discounted way to cross bridges. And the car was new, clean, and fun to drive.

What's not to like? Best car rental experience of my life!

The drop off was tough as there is no sign from Oslo airport even by Google map I couldn't find it.

Staff was helpful at pickup but gave no instructions on drop off.

They failed to inform us that if you dropped off after 5 o’clock you had to pay for overnight parking and there is no where to drop off. You have to pay for public parking. That made the rental extremely expensive for what we got. Very disappointing.

Everything with pickup went so smoothly! I was extremely impressed! The only thing I would have changed with drop-off is their hours. Since they close at 3pm on Saturdays there was no one to receive the car when I returned it, so I'm still waiting for my deposit to be reimbursed. We'll see how long that takes. Otherwise all was good!

The staff was not friendly. The cars Bluetooth kept making static noises. Gas tank was extremely over priced. Car was overpriced.

A) First I booked a medium car for 1 day by phone. The booking nummer was 2073-8471-DK-5. Avis would have charge us for round 7271, or 1065 USD !!!!! Just before accepting the paiement I fortunately cancelled the booking.Then I made the booking via KAYAK for 69 UDS !!! . How is it possible to have such a difference in the rate 14 times more. B) Then I made the booking via KAYAK for 69 UDS !!! Before taking over the car I phoned AVIS office to tell them we could be 15 minutes to late according pick-up time and also to confirm the booking. We show up at the airport, and unfortunately the car was booked in the city. I'm so disapointed that the assistant didn't told me I have to go to the city. C) At the desk the told us our credit card is not accepted. Big discussion, and then it was finally OK. All of these points for 1 booking. Very poor service. The car was dirty (2 bottles under the seat, snack bar packaging in the pockets)... The naviation system was on "Do not use motorways", we spend long time to find out how to do to take it off. We bought full insurance coverage on the car. When we returned it, they found a small scratch on the bumper. We have received multiple emails from them to fill out an insurance form, threatening to cancel our coverage if we didn't return it. So we returned it. But they have sent it again. Unpleasant. Otherwise the rental was ok.

The car was terrible. We rented electric and the 250 km guaranteed distance between charges was only 100 km. The 4 hour long journey took us 7 hours due to the frequent charging. The charging time itself was also longer than suggested (over 45 min each time and that would not bring us to full). Then we broke down and needed assistance. Unfortunately it was in a different country from the original place of rental. This both countries had to be activated to come to our assistance. This was overall a disaster.

voucher specified pickup location address, when we got there - agency was not there, we asked around - the agency moved 3 streets ahead and we had a long walk. When we asked same question in the sixt agency why bad address - they told that this is a known issue for a long time and no1 cares to update proper address in the vouchers. car was shaking and noisy.

I am deeply disappointed with Kayak and with sixt. I needed to advance the rental date 15 days, so I did it well in advance. At no time did KAYAK help me in the process, they only indicated that I contact Sixt, and they told me to contact KAYAK. A disaster. Finally I had to rent in another Europcar and lose my money already paid. There was no kind of refund because they said that the cancellation fees were equal to the value paid. an absurd . I felt cheated. Ha, but I will hire nothing again with Kayak, nor with Sixt.
