Location facility is sub par for Hertz but service and convenience was terrific. Great value vs airport locations.

Booking through Kayak was a huge mistake. Firstly I was allowed to book a car rental for 5pm only to discover upon arrival that the facility closed at 5pm as I was informed by the clerk who was locking the door. That was the first problem. I arrived at the facility the next morning to pick up the vehicle which was done by a different clerk. I informed him that the reservation was already paid for as well as the damage waiver purchased through the Kayak online booking. After the end of the rental the vehicle was return 9 hours before the drop off time. Three days later a charge appears for a damage waiver from Hertz that I had already purchased through Kayak. After contacting the Hertz billing operation and explaining that I already had the damage waiver purchased I was informed that they would not refund that amount. Hertz was unprofessional from the beginning of our interaction and I don't know exactly which company - Hertz or Kayak - is most at fault - If the facility closes at 5pm why was I allowed to book a rental at that time. I will NEVER use Hertz OR Kayak to book anything EVER again. Lesson learned

Great staff at this O'Fallon location - got me in and out the door in minimal time! Drove a Nissan Altima for 11 days and was very impressed with the vehicle and its fuel economy. Lastly, when I needed a lift to the airport, Hertz was there to assist w/out any delay. Thanks for an outstanding experience ..

The pickup was great. The O'Fallon branch was super helpful friendly and efficient.

The williamsburg office is closed. Like until further noticed closed. I tried to call the number left on the door and there was no answer or option to speak to someone. I am still hoping I am going to be getting my 200$ hold back. I left the keys in the box like instructed but not sure how they will know.

Terrible customer service. Did not add my AAA discount. Will not adjust since they closed it out.

Best customer service. I had to call and ask for a receipt 3 times to get a simple email. Agent told me she would add AAA discount at the counter but never did and not told they could not adjust. Terrible way to let a customer down

Comfortable.

No washer fluid. I drove 40 miles to pickup the van n it wasn't there. I had to drive back home bccthey didn't know when it would be there n drive all the way back 3 hours later. Not cool the day before a trip when I had things to do.

Price was fair and they upgraded us when they ran out of the class of car I rented.

The rep asked for a 2nd phone number, home, spouse, parent etc, when I asked why, since I have never had any car company require a 2nd number, including enterprise, which I had just used the week prior, she stated that it was company policy and they can't rent to me without a 2nd number on file and that they wouldn't sell my info to outside companies. They only use the info to get a hold of me if they can not reach me on my cell do to lose or damage to my phone. What sense does that make? If my cell is lost or stolen, how will anyone be able to reach me? If I gave her my home number (which I do not have), and I am gone, who is suppose to answer and get a hold of me if no one is home, LOL. Her logic was so off. My biggest complaint about this policy is, why is a car company being so nosey? No one needs my mother or other family members phone numbers. I am 43 years old, I think I can handle my own car rental without someone else's phone number having to get involved. To top it off I had to wait 30 minutes for a car to be cleaned and it wasn't even very clean when we got it.

My son saw the moist cat food and touched it then put his hands in his mouth. Why do they have cat food out by their customers? That's weird.

Checking in and checking out was the quickest I've ever experienced. The car was clean well maintained and got great mileage. The staff was also very friendly and courteous.
