Every winter, this festival cuts rays of flaring, multi-coloured light designs through the splash of the majestic water fall. If that’s not enough, beginning December 1, Rink at the Brink gets under way – ice skating next to the rim of Niagara Falls. Gliding through the winter night bundled up on the rink – the spectacle of walls of water illuminated by a thousand lights – can only be described as out of this world.
In addition, the festival offers a host of concerts, fireworks and other outdoor displays of winter merriment. To top off the evening, grab some hot chocolate and go for a drive around the city of Niagara Falls – its own dazzle of winter lighting will not disappoint.
