Child-friendly diversions at airports in Ontario
London, Toronto Pearson and Ottawa
London International Airport
An exhibition highlighting YXU's rich and fascinating history is the drawcard of the Terminal at London International. There's also a T-33 Silver Star Aircraft at the entrance of the airport.
Toronto Pearson International Airport
Pearson's art-and-exhibition program has plenty to keep children occupied before the flight. The display of dinosaurs in Terminal 1 (International Arrivals area) – an Allosaurus and its prey and an Othnielia – is courtesy of the Royal Ontario Museum.
There is a mini-children’s play area located at Domestic Departure Gate 124 (Terminal 1) and another play area located at International Departure Gate C34 (Terminal 3).
Ottawa International Airport
In a recent development, Wi-Fi is free throughout the airport. Old-style entertainment for children includes free colouring books and pencils from the Info desk. There’s a small, kiddie-sized table with four chairs beside the Currency Exchange on the Ground Level (Arrivals) where the children can sit and create their masterpieces.
