When it comes to entertainment in Las Vegas, it seems like there’s always something new to try. From shows and exhibits to  shopping centres and rides, Sin City’s entertainment options are constantly evolving. And if you’re a thrill-seeker, you have a new way to see Las Vegas starting this week, thanks to the opening of the VooDoo Zip Line at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino.

The zip line propels riders through the air at speeds of up to 53 kph as they glide over Las Vegas at nearly 152 metres in the air. The ride starts on the 50th floor of Rio’s Masquerade Tower at the VooDoo Steakhouse, where up to two riders at a time zipline their way across to the 20th floor of the hotel’s Ipanema Tower. After arriving at the Ipanema Tower, the ride reverses at speeds of up to 32 kph, all the while letting riders soak up the 360-degree views of Las Vegas for a little more than a minute.
