When is the best time to visit Zacatecas?
The peak season for visiting Mexico tends to be between December and April, as visiting during these months enables you to avoid the rainy season (which runs roughly from late May until the end of October). Travel to Zacatecas during this peak period is likely to be more expensive, especially if you want to book your flights during the school holidays. However, there are usually discount packages, and last minute money off offers that the sharp-eyed traveller can take advantage of. Fly to Mexico during the cooler, or rainier months of May or November to avoid the brunt of the rainy season whilst snapping up the reduced cost flights associated with this off-peak period. If you want to experience a truly unique Mexican event, then why not visit during the splendid annual Day of the Dead celebrations?
