Travellers on cheap flights to Copenhagen can expect to find a city milder than it should be, given its latitude. The climate has four distinct seasons. July is generally the warmest month, with temperatures of about 20 degrees Celsius (68 degrees Fahrenheit). February is coolest; temperatures hover around freezing (32F).
Peak Season:Spring and summer are peak, when most travellers arrive on cheap flights to Copenhagen.
Off Season:Winter is generally off season, although this is the time when Copenhagen can be enjoyed at its wintry, snowy best.
After disembarking cheap flights to Copenhagen, getting into the city is a breeze. There is a train station beneath Terminal 3, and the journey to the city centre takes 12 minutes. Trains run every ten minutes. Metro is also an option. The Metro station is at the end of Terminal 3. Journeys to Kongens Nytorv, in the centre of the city, take just 15 minutes. Metro trains operate between 5am and midnight. At weekends (Thursday-Sunday) trains operate 24 hours a day.
There are several bus lines available from the airport. Major car rental companies - EuropCar, Hertz, Avis - have desks at the airport. Taxis can be picked up outside Terminals 1 and 3.
It’s easy to keep saving money after your cheap flight to Copenhagen. Borrow a bicycle with CityBikes, a free service that lets visitors pedal their way around the city. You will have to leave a small deposit that is fully refundable when you and your bike return.
