Although there is no public transportation to St. John’s, for travellers who have arrived on cheap flights to Antigua taxis are readily available at the airport terminal and take about 15 minutes.
Antigua V C Bird International Airport (ANU)
The airport is located about eight kilometres north east of the capital St. John’s. Many car rental agencies including Thrifty and Avis, have offices in the terminal. Parking facilities are also available. Departure taxes are EC$50 (about CAD$25).
