Located just eight miles (15km) from Scarborough, Tobago's capital, Arthur Napoleon Raymond Robinson International Airport (TAB) – formerly known as Crown Point International Airport – is the Caribbean island of Tobago's sole air transport hub. Not as popular as Piarco International Airport (located on the other isle of the twin-island republic, Trinidad), it is nevertheless a convenient access-point for Caribbean holidays.
Flights to Tobago via ANR Robinson International Airport (as it is commonly known) are irregular and limited – mainly consisting of connections to London, and to other Caribbean destinations such as Grenada and Barbados.
ANR Robinson International Airport is a very basic, informal kind of airport – perfectly in harmony with the relaxed, sanguine attitude to life that characterizes the island at large. There are, currently, major plans for renovation and improvement at the airport (forming part of the Vision 2020 program) – but, as you'd guess, things are happening slowly.

Taxi: Taxis are available outside the terminal building or you can call one from the airport. The ride to Scarborough should take about 15 or 20 minutes, and cost TTD 50. We advise you to only get into cars with license plates that start 'H...' as these are authorized taxi vehicles. Cars with license plates that start 'PH...' are private vehicles – and shouldn't necessarily be trusted to deliver you to your destination safely and for a fair price.
Bus: An hourly PTSC bus service connects the airport with downtown Scarborough. You buy your tickets at Jetway Holiday Resort (located within very short walking distance of the terminal building), and wait to board the bus at the shed outside this hotel. A bus ticket will cost just TTD 6, and the trip will take no more 25 minutes.

There's complimentary parking for about 75 vehicles available at ANR Robinson International Airport. You can walk from the car park to the terminal building very easily.

Money and communications: There is a branch of Republic Bank and an ATM located in the terminal building.
Luggage: No luggage facilities are available.
Conference and business: No conference or business facilities are available at the airport – your closest bet is the Hilton Tobago hotel, located about 2.5 miles (4km) east of the airport.
Other facilities: None of note.
Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi is not available in the terminal building – try the Crown Point Beach Hotel, located down the road from the airport.
Shopping: There's a very basic selection of shops at ANR Robinson International Airport, including Shore Things Boutique and Zoom Caribbean (both clothing stores); and Stechers, a gift and souvenir store. There are also kiosks selling reading material, snacks, and basic travel accessories.
Food and drink: There is a very clearly demarcated restaurant area in the terminal building, which is home to Tri Star Restaurant and Bar (grab a Red Stripe beer for your way out), Royal Castle Limited (serving decent fast food and snacks) and Rituals Coffee House. Located just outside the airport is Pelican Reef, which offers good, fresh seafood.
