General Mariano Escobedo International Airport is located near the city of Monterrey and serves about five million passengers each year. Most of its traffic is domestic, from cities such as Guadalajara, Tijuana and Mexico City. It serves airlines such as Aero California, AeroLitoral and Delta Air Lines and is a hub for Aviacsa, Aeroméxico and Viva Aerobus.

There are no public transport options from the airport. Taxi and privately hired cars are the only two options.
Road: Taxi: Several taxi companies provide services to/from the airport (journey time: 30 minutes). Travellers can buy pre-paid tickets at designated airport desks. A minibus service is provided by Suburban (tel: 0052 (0)81 8332 3010).

The car park is located in front of the terminal building. Short- and long-term parking is available. The long-term parking area is located at the rear of the car park, 100m (91 yards) from the terminals.

Money and communications: There is one Banamex bank and several ATMs at the airport. A post office is also available.
Eating and drinking: There are two restaurants, which both have bar areas.
Shopping: Duty-free, Mexican food, alcoholic drinks, sports and accessories shops are all available.
Luggage: There are no left-luggage facilities at the airport.
