For domestic flights, check-in opens three hours before departure and closes 45 minutes prior to departure. For Canada-US flights and flights to "Sun" destinations (the Caribbean, Central and South America, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Mexico and the United States of America) check-in desks open three hours prior to departure and close 60 minutes before take-off. For international flights, check-in counters open four hours prior to departure and closes 60 minutes prior to take-off.
Carry-on: One piece of carry-on baggage weighing up to 5kg and no larger than 23cm x 40cm x 51cm. Prospective brides and grooms are allowed to bring their wedding dress/tuxedo onboard free.
Checked baggage: On flights to "Sun" destinations (the Caribbean, Central and South America, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Mexico and the US), passengers are allowed two pieces of luggage (up to 20kg). This is the same for flights to Belfast and Edinburgh (20kg). On flights to Portugal and Croatia, passengers are permitted to bring two pieces of hold luggage weighing 30kg. Italy flights have the most generous baggage allowance - 40kg.
Excess baggage: Checked baggage that exceeds the allowance will be accepted only on a stand-by basis and is subject to space availability. Excess baggage rates are $20 (CDN) per kg for domestic and international flights.
Seat pitch: 76-81cm in Economy Class.
Passengers can request seats for a fee of $15 (CDN) per person per flight. Exit Row seats can be pre-booked for $35 each way. Only able-bodied adults may book Exit Row seats, those with a disability and those travelling with an infant cannot reserve them. Bulkhead seats are reserved for passengers with medical conditions or in need of special assistance. Passengers may change their seat reservation up to 48 hours before the flight by calling 1-888-571-0094. There is an administration fee of $15 for this.

Only service animals are allowed in the aircraft cabin. Pets are not allowed, in the cabin or as cargo.
Small instruments, with dimensions less than 23 x 40 x 51 cm can be carried onboard as carry-on luggage for no extra fee. Instruments larger than this must be checked in to the hold and will be subject to excess luggage fees if appropriate.
Complimentary beverages (soft drinks, fruit juices, tea and coffee) are served. Alcoholic beverages, such as wine, beer, cocktails and liqueurs, cost $6 each. Snacks (Pringles, Doritos and Kit Kats etc) cost $2 each. Sandwiches and baguettes cost about $5. There's a complimentary blanket service on transatlantic flights, but on southern flights, Comfy Kits (blanket and pillow) cost $5. There's audio and movie service too and headsets can be purchased for $3.
