Paying for coffee on a Swiss flight of approx 3hrs. I would’ve expected, that Ryan Air charges….or maybe a charter flight. But 4CHF for a cup of coffee is just another reason, that Swiss (and subsequently LH Group) has lost touch with frequent travellers by a landslide.

At first glance, Warsaw is dark and grey with little promise of entertainment value. But give it a second look and you’ll find that Warsaw is a city overflowing with history and carefully becoming one of Europe’s modern cities. Gone are the days of Stalin, Hitler, communism and socialists – today’s Warsaw is cosmopolitan, progressive and overflowing with creative energy. Warsaw flights and luxury hotels are packed full of travellers seeking a bit of history with their morning latte.
Warsaw is divided into districts and separated by the Vistula River. The left bank features most of the top tourist attractions and the right back is more modern and stylish. The center of Warsaw, and where most travellers begin their journey after their flight to Warsaw, is the Royal Route, which runs from New and Old Warsaw. The nightlife in Warsaw is just as fascinating as the city’s history. As more youth descend on the city, Warsaw plays host to bars and clubs catering to the kids. As Poland’s largest city, there is something for everyone in Warsaw. Find a flight to Warsaw and visit the city drawn from the history books and moving fast toward the future.
The easiest way to get downtown after your flight to Warsaw is to catch a cab, bus or shuttle bus from the airport. Since the airport is so close to the city, rates are all affordable. Within the city it’s very easy to get around between the trams, buses and the Metro. And you can always set out on your own two feet.
