This review isn't about WestJet - the YYC-YYJ flight was just fine. It's about YYC. In my particular area of the terminal there are lots and lots and lots of "olde tyme" gate area seats and ZERO power outlets available to passengers. ZERO. I walked the entire wing of the terminal (probably 10 gates) and there was 1 lonely outlet, not conveniently located. YYC needs to URGENTLY upgrade its seating to replace its 1980s banks of chairs with modern seating that includes power outlets. I could talk about the relative lack of interesting eating areas, but maybe that's for another review. Since WestJet calls YYC home, the YYC in-terminal experience detracts from the overall WestJet experience. I'd hate to have a long layover at YYC in its current state, and would consider another airline if this were the case.

The main airport in Toronto is Pearson. You’ll find far more flight options between Edmonton and Pearson than with Hamilton. The Hamilton airport is really just more of an overflow airport for relieving some of the traffic at Pearson and is also used by some budget airlines or for large planes that are flying overseas.
